About
About us
Burst Their Bubble is a new, independent home for citizen media.
What is citizen media?
Citizen media is journalism and commentary created by members of the public rather than professional news organisations. It gives a voice to people who see events first-hand, and to views that don’t always make the headlines.
Why “burst their bubble”?
Online, it’s easy to end up only hearing from people who already agree with us. This site is about stepping outside that bubble, with stories and perspectives you might not otherwise come across.
More coming soon. We’ll share more about who we are, our editorial approach and how we work before we launch.
